  • You have until 14 days after the exam entry closing date (or 14 days after the late exam entry closing date if you paid the late entry fee) to defer your exam entry to the next session, free of charge.

Exams entries can only be deferred once to the next exam session.

If you deferred this exam from the last exam session you will be ineligible for a guaranteed, free deferral.

  • Did you defer this exam in the last exam session?
  • You are ineligible for a guaranteed deferral, as you can only defer an exam once.

If it is for emergency reasons, you can apply under that option.

  • You are ineligible for a guaranteed deferral as you are outside the time frame.

If it is for emergency reasons, you can apply under that option.

  • We will automatically defer your exam to the next session once you have submitted this application. You will recieve a deferral confirmation within a 14 days of submission, unless there is an issue (in which case we will be in touch sooner).

  • You may be able to request an emergency deferral, where your exam entry is deferred to the next session in recognition of exceptional circumstances.

To apply for an emergency deferral, please let us know the details of your circumstances and upload relevant documentation (such as medical evidence). If accepted, exam entries can only be deferred once to the next exam session.
